A key to the museum can be obtained from the Gasthaus Fasching "Zum Hoferwirt".




At the centre of the museum is a reconstruction of a sepulchral mound in its original size with a display of five graves, with access for visitors wishing to a closer look. The objects come from the "Hügelstaudach" Roman burial ground, situated close to the museum. The glass jars exhibited are unique in the whole of Styria.
The successful preservation of historical monuments here with regard to architectural, archaeological, didactic, artistic and social considerations has been awarded two architectural prizes.
